  • Need a highly structured, clearly defined and well organised environment.
  • Work best with a repetitive, predictable routine. 
  • May have associated difficulties (comorbidities) e.g. medical, learning, sensory. 
  • May use a variety of visually-supported communication methods e.g. PECS, signing etc. 
  • Are unique individuals, with their own strengths and pathways through learning. 
  • Respond best to consistency in all of their environments (home, school, respite etc)
