Non-chronological reports

As a class we discussed and identified what all the features of a non-chronological report and looked through various texts to find each feature. We looked at the title, introduction paragraph, subheadings, labels, bullet points, photos and captions. We researched a topic of our own choice and made a spider diagram of things we can include in our own reports.

 

Fact file

We've been looking at fact files for lots of different animals, after a read through our fact files we were able to answer questions about the various parts included. We then chose an animal of our choice and went to the library to find books and information texts to help us write our own fact files.
