How Does Music Influence The Art We Create?

Penguins had a brilliant time with this theme. We explored making music to accompany art, took inspiration from artists, objects and natural resources, to create our own art and explored a range of natural and synthetic materials. The children were able to use a wide and alternate range of mediums to paint with such as feathers, cotton buds, sticks, feathers and the more traditional tools such as brushes and sponges.

Fruit and Vegetable sculptures influenced by Guiseppe Arcimboldo, an Italian 16th century artist who painted sculptures made from different objects such as flowers, books, fruit and vegetables.

Andy Goldsworthy is an artist known for using natural materials to creatur sculptures in nature. We took inspiration from his art and made our own leaf sculptures.
