Turtles have come back from their half term break feeling ready to jump into our next topic, which is called Read all about it!
Turtles have been having a great time reading and participating in activities based around the very enjoyable book, We're going on a bear hunt!
Through following this story, Turtles have been able to explore their senses, making for lots of fun and messy sessions in our classroom!
We've "squelched!" and "squerched!" through "thick oozy mud!"
And we have "splashed" and "sploshed" through a "deep cold river!"
Have a look...
Turtles also made a lovely tribute to remembrance day by decorating some traditional poppies and displaying them in our school hall.
As we approach our Christmas Holiday, Turtles have moved on to our new topic, Snow Business!
Turtles have been really enjoying feeling the weather get colder and the nights getting darker. We have had lots of fun playing in fluffy white snow, and making lots of wintery creations in class.
The Turtles have got all Christmassy in our final few days of the term. We have been busy making lots of Christmas crafts and creating fake snow which we had great fun throwing about the classroom. We've visited Bosworth's Garden Centre - going in their giant snow globe! We even had a visit from real reindeer and the man himself - SANTA!
