On 25th January, the Family Support Team organised a mindfulness well-being taster session by Jacqui Barnett, a qualified mindfulness practitioner. Jacqui taught those who participated techniques of how to bring the mind into the present and concentrating on 'this moment' teaching us that dwelling in the past or worrying about the future can cause unnecessary stress. We learnt some useful breathing techniques to calm the mind and help you feel in control.
